What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is the most Spiritual and Philosophical type of yoga. Kundalini Yoga has Kriyas (exercise sets) that go beyond the Asanas (poses) with its emphasis on opening the chakras through Pranayama (Breathwork), Guided Visual Meditations, Mudras (Hand Gestures), and Mantras (Sacred Sounds/Singing). Kundalini Yoga is also known as Yoga of Awareness. It is a form of yoga thats purpose is to assist in awakening your divine energy that lies dormant within. By raising Kundalini energy, it helps activate and balance your chakras. With regular practice, Kundalini yoga can lead to Spiritual Enlightenment, called Kundalini Awakening.

Trauma informed Yoga provides the Teacher specific skills to compassionately, safely and effectively instruct a trauma sensitive Kundalini Yoga for people with PTSD. Practice of Trauma Informed Kundalini Yoga restores healthy regulation to the brain, glandular and nervous systems after enduring traumatic experiences. It is effective in helping people reconnect with their body, reduce symptoms, and provide the support to move from a state of reactivity to an experience of safety and calm.
